International Film Festival at Hyderabad

Our senior facilitator, Mr. Ramesh Shah from the Cultural Department had the honour of being invited to be a member of the’ Screening Committee’ of International Children Film Society of India which is an autonomous body under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The preview screenings were held from 16th August, 2017 to 30th September, 2017 in Mumbai.

Another proud moment for PPSC…  For the first time students from an unaided school have been invited to this festival.

Mr. Ramesh Shah’s vast experience and expertise in the field of drama and his deep involvement with his students prompted the Children Film Society of India to  invite our students from PPSC to attend the ‘International Children Film Festival’ popularly known as ‘The Golden Elephant’. This festival is being held in Hyderabad from 8th November,2017 to 14th November, 2017. The students have left for this all sponsored trip to Hyderabad with our HOD of the Cultural Department, Mrs. Nirupama Srivastava on  6th November, 2017.

The five deserving students are Master Jahan Dave , Master Ammar Khan and Miss. Navya Jaina, all from Grade 8 and Miss Sakina Tawawala and Master Utkarsh Batra from Grade 9.

Our students are the priviledged five  out of 3 lakh students to be a part of the delegation of this prestigious Film Festival.

WE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE THAT Miss. SAKINA TAWAWALA FROM GRADE 9 HAS BEEN SELECTED TO BE PART THE JURY. A PROUD MOMENT FOR US INDEED !

We are sure this experience of viewing international films and interacting with students all over the world will prove to  a cherished teasure for our students.
